Warning Signs*
  • Vehicle runs overly hot
  • Boils over on hot days
  • Engine temperature rises quickly when towing a trailer
  • Coolant leaks down in radiator area

  • Radiator is removed in order to determine the material it has been made from
  • Inspect and report on all cooling system hoses
  • Adjust and tighten all engine drive belts as required
  • Plastic and aluminum radiators are pressure washed and flushed
  • Copper and brass radiators are soaked in caustic soda and flushed with water
  • All leaks are located by pressure testing the system
  • Leaks are then repaired if possible
  • If the radiator is not repairable, a new UAP/Napa radiator could be installed
  • Our facilities are able to repair plastic, aluminum and copper/brass radiators
